I find it difficult to define art as being a separate category in defining my existence. I have no choice in that I must create. I feel every being has the ability within to construct, yet most of these talents are stifled by oneself and/or society. I try to bring unity to people by making objects that draw simple thought and smiles from the observer. I make objects with the idea that they will not only be for the art elite and bourgeoisie but also for the common human being. I am in the image of a Great Spirit/Creator and through my work I continue the process.  |
